When Did We Stop Wearing Shorts?
Let's reconsider.
Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped wearing shorts. And maybe they're a hard no for you, and we respect that. But if you've simply drifted away from them because you don't love showing your legs, they started to feel a little too young, or you're just not quite sure how to style them anymore, we’re here to encourage you to give them another look. But let’s do it in a more grown up, stylish way (and with a little more coverage).
This season’s longer Bermuda shorts are tailored, relaxed, and much more polished. The key is all in the styling. These brown Bermudas would go well with a light blue crisp button down or linen. Add a cute crochet clutch and silver flips flops (these are our faves) for a casual but put together look.
Think simple tanks (this one is so flattering on), linen vests, lightweight sweaters like this cute cardigan or one worn draped over the shoulders. Add interest to the otherwise simple outfit with scarves, belts, statement sandals, bangles and oversized totes.
The easiest way to wear Bermuda shorts is this all black combo with a little heel that lengthens your legs, a classic belt like this one we all want and your favorite tote. These black Bermudas are the perfect length and a great price (but they’re going fast).

We especially love them in linen, trouser fabrics, crisp cotton or longer denim cuts that hit just above or at the knee.
And PS - they’re practical. They keep you cool, feel comfortable, and can look incredibly chic when paired with elevated basics and accessories.
On DAISY this week, we found Bermuda shorts that actually feel wearable, flattering, and grown-up in the best possible way. Don’t have a free account yet? Start by taking the quiz.

I stopped wearing shorts when mosquitos thought my legs were a buffet. I like the shorts you posted and I am tempted into dipping my foot into shorts territory again.
I'm tempted especially after seeing these four options. I especially love the last two!
