A higher heel that isn't a high heel
There’s a reason flatform sandals are suddenly everywhere again. This time around, there’s truly a version for everyone: sleek and minimal, sporty and chunky, strappy and feminine, even luxe designer takes that feel more fashion-editor than beach vacation. They give you the height and polish of a heel, but with the ease and comfort of a flat (well, depending on how high the platform is, of course). They feel grounded, modern, and just a little bit edgy and nostalgic all at once.
What we love most is how versatile they are (and we would definitely pack them for a trip to Europe.) A cool modern black pair like these toughen up soft dresses, make relaxed denim feel more modern, and give simple linen pieces a little architectural edge.
A strappy brown pair like these would look especially good with wide-leg trousers, breezy skirts, and anything monochromatic.
