Fresh Pick: Sneakers
In a Sneaker Rut? Here’s Some Inspiration
We love a good pair of sneakers—not just for running errands but as the perfect finishing touch to an outfit. Whether you’re into retro classics or sleek minimal styles, there’s a sneaker for every vibe. Here are our favorites and how to wear them.
We love the Nike Cortez for its retro feel and perfect worn-in look. Style them with a simple dress like this one, and add military jacket layered over it–So cool!
Adidas Gazelle are always low in stock in sizes. If you’re lucky enough to find them in your size, nab them in any color. We love the oat color and red - style them with lower rise jeans, a blazer, and our new favorite white tee. (these white with red stripes Sambas are super cute too).
The New Balance 550s have that vintage basketball feel while still being totally wearable for everyday. This is what “the cool girls” are wearing right now. Yes they look great with jeans and a blazer too, but also with trousers and our favorite button-down.
If you love a little edge, the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 brings that old-school track vibe in the best way. The yellow looks so cool with baggy jeans and a jacket. But try them with a pleated skirt and ankle socks for a fun, unexpected mix.
If you’re after pure comfort, the Veja V-10s are not only stylish but sustainably made. Perfect for those days when you want to look put together but still feel like you’re walking on clouds.
And then there’s always the classic high-top Converse Chuck 70s that are a forever favorite. They add just the right amount of throwback charm to an outfit. Black jeans (our favorite ones from Everlane are finally back in stock), and a blue button down. Or a classic highland sweater, bandana and Levi’s. The yellow color is so cute, but we love them all.
No matter your personal style, sneakers are the easiest way to mix comfort and cool. What’s your go-to pair?
